Here's the pattern I used to make my size-small soaker.
For each 1-inch size adjustment, add five stitches.

You will need:
1 skein worsted weight (wool) yarn. (5 stitches per inch on 8s)
Size 6 - 16" circulars OR DPNS
Size 8 - 16" circulars AND DPNS
1 tapestry needle
