I have changed suppliers for my Alpaca. The new yarn is EVEN SOFTER and sort of silky feel with less mohair-esque fuzz when knitted up. It soaks up dye like there's no tomorrow. I think it's my new favourite yarn ( Read more... )

Two other things that are "new:"

1. I now have "licorice twist" worsted wool yarn!

It could be done in any colourway, but looks best as a "single colour" due to the yarn's unique way of taking dye.

It is a 4-ply superwash yarn, one ply of which sucks up way more dye than the others, producing a twisty colour, like so:
