What sort of projects would you recommend 3-ply merino for?

It's really soft, but super-sturdy.

I use it for hats, baby pants and fingerless gloves/wristwarmers, but it'd be sturdy enough for socks or bags, I just don't make socks or bags.

I'm thinking of trying scarves for Christmas, maybe crochet instead of knitting. I've never attempted either, but I'd like to this year. I like the Pelagic and the Josefine. Are they still available? Also, would you consider taking 10 for each so it would be 25 even with shipping?

Well I paid $10.50 plus postage for it myself, but we're POOR, so yeah, I'll take it.

I don't crochet, I mostly knit, but the hookers I know like the 3-ply a lot!

You can get about two hats or one scarf out of one skein.
