"Summer" Co-ops!
I was going to start all these last week, but I have been at the hospital.
It's time to order for summer knitting!
The low-down is that there is a 2-skein colourway minimum (okay to split with someone else, yes undyed counts as a colourway) and my colourways are the lowest price I have available (the over ten skeins price) or sometimes even $1/skein lower than that. I'll also be offering undyed for most yarns if you want to try dyeing yourself. Shipping from them to me is INCLUDED in the price per skein (even the stuff that comes from overseas). Shipping from me to you will be the same, but I won't charge the current raise in postage because I haven't updated my pages yet. If you order on more than one coop I'll combine all your yarn to make things as cheap as possible.
If there is interest I will add a roving coop as well.
I'm thinking that coops will close on June 7th with payment due by June 10th, but if there is a substantial order that needs to wait a bit longer, that would be alright as well.
Some notes on dyeing/colour - most of what's pictured in the colourway list is purewool or ardara. Both of those, as well as the mikado turn out just like the pictures. Peace fleece and Alpaca tend to be a little bit more "matte" whereas cottons tend to be a bit more saturated with colour. Keep in mind that since it's all hand-dyed, it may not be EXACTLY alike, but I will NOT send out stuff that I don't think is accurate. If you buy purewool's own colourways, remember that they are OFTEN not as pictured - however, some of them are consistent in how they are dissimilar (for example, "praga" is always hot pink and dark green) so feel free to ask questions.

COOP #1 - COTTON, ALPACA & SOCK YARN!!!

50%Alpaca 50%Wool
1 skein - 131grams/4 ounces, 240-250 yds

Pima Cotton (super crazy soft with a slight crimp texture)

This yarn is great for those who don't want wool longies!!!

One Skein = 4 ounces, 195-205yards
Not as soft as the Pima (which is also organic, it's just this one is called "organic cotton") but still okay for baby clothes. Knits up VERY similar to 3-ply purewool but is slightly more polished.

One Skein = 4 ounces, 425-435yards
75% wool, 25% nylon, machine washable!
(May dye up slightly paler than pictured colourways)

Peace Fleece is 2-ply
30% Mohair 70% Russian Wool worsted
One Skein = appx 4 ounces, 200 yards
Peace fleece is good for grown-up and baby knits. It felts well if you put elbow-grease into it. If you order my colourways, the yarn will soften up a lot more when I dye it as well.
