I agree. Birthday girls should always win. Or at least go home with someone.
Also, I've been working in kitchens for 13 years. I want my pancakes to sparkle, too, damn it >=O As a side note, because I've been working in kitchens for 13 years and hate it, I don't let any of my sims enter the culinary career lol.

I want my pancakes to sparkle, too, damn it >=O ME TOO!!! I had pancakes on Thursday and they were good (really good!), but they didn't sparkle. So unfair. Maybe this week?
And that's an interesting side note. So, never ever? And what about running bakeries or restaurants, do you let them do that?
Nope. Not at all. haven't even ever worked on the food hoddy thing.
Maybe it's time I did toss someone in the culinary career or something. Finally blew the dust off the Rain-Bows now that I have time to play again, so maybe someone will be going into a kitchen soon-ish.
Holy cow! Literally, killer homework! Those poor boys' study skills are going to be scarred forever.
Gold can haz muscles, and will probably make a good chef. But Custard wants to be a professional party guest? What??? :-P
I really like the artsy winter garden scenes. They make a nice reflective pause for the storyline. But do you have a roof over that room where Gold is dancing near the piano?
Floaty Emerald -- I wonder if that helps with her ballet. It's nice to see she's still got it.
Those poor boys' study skills are going to be scarred forever. no WONDER they made such faces when I made them do their homework after that ... !
Professional party guest ... one of the most crazy careers/career tracks maxis made. And it's so weird (character wise) for him to want that, he's a terribly shy kid who wants to be popular *pets*
I'm glad you like those winter scenes, I really did too (obviously!). And yes, both the ballet bars are INSIDE now. I learned my lesson :)

I was desperately trying to find work for today, so I was at the computer a lot. This is the silver lining.
