MERRY CHRISTMAS!! IT'S The Yarns, Clementine part 14 XD

Apologies in advance if this is a particularly disjointed update. I played all this over a month ago and have had a hard time sitting down and actually writing this!



We'll start off with some awesome Clementine yoga, just to show that she's still nimble and flexible in her elder years (and she's still pursing Orange gen hobbies :D)



And that she has gravity defying glasses O_O



This cute girl came home from school with the boys, so of course my little romantic Chestnut has to sing karaoke with her!



Her name is Henye Morgan Zosimus, and she's actually the daughter of my downloadable Yianni Zosimus and javabean_dreams's Katie Berglur.



Such a cutie, and Russet has bolts with her!!



Clementine finishes another novel.



And starts right up on another.



Russet: So, I heard about this sport in which you don't throw or catch a ball!
Peat: Oh yeah? *eats pancakes*
Russet: I think we should try it, you know, for the experience.



Russet: Apparently you slide on ice and snow while your feet are attached to these long sticks.
Peat: Gee, that sounds like it's almost fun. These pancakes taste funny, should I say something?
Russet: It's called skiing!! Or...was it ice skating??



So they go "downtown" to try out this so called sport without a ball that involves ice and little sticks.



Sort of.



I think they should have worn their coats and mittens.



But I'm not their mother, just a knitter (^.^) *pats Chestnut on his little head*



After that they went to the park to see if they could meet any ladies.



Russet already has Henye as a love interest, but Peat needs someone too!! My poor little family sim wants some LOVIN'!



I don't remember what her name is, let's call her Jess.
Peat: So, I told him, let's get a rocket shovel!
Jess: I totally concur.
Peat: I could find so much more treasure if he let me use a rocket shovel. I mean, I have found more than him already but I could find EVEN MORE!



Jess: So, how would you design one? Put the rocket on the handle?
Peat: Well, you start with the Golden Shovel of Awesome. And then you find a rocket that has the perfect weight distribution ...



Peat: Attach it to the handle...
Jess: OMG THAT'S SO AWESOME!!



Jess: WHY HASN'T ANYONE MADE ONE? That's fantastic!!! *dies of awesome*
Peat: Yeah, I told you it was awesome! Tee heee.



Peat: It wasn't taht awesome?



So back at their thrifty little shop, the boys greet their customers and attempt to make some sales. Like my informal 'whoever finds the next/most treasure chests will be heir' contest, I had another little mini contest ... 'whoever earns a badge first will be heir!'



Peat keeps winning. (I know that's not a picture of him getting a badge, but he did get one, and before his brother too. I think he's trying to tell me something.)



Customer: My that rock underneath the snow is lovely! I wonder if I should buy it!
OY!



This is one of those "how to have a successful business" shots. Building a snowman. Very Important. (see that customer studying the snow? IMPORTANT!!)



This is Jadzia. And Russet trying to operate the cash register.

Russet: I mean, gee golly!!
Peat: I think this is one of those times that Mom would say, "Careful! Your face could freeze like that!"
Russet: Bwah?!



Peat: 'salright, brother. I'll just go make a snow man. Want to help?



Back at home Ben found the sprinkler. In the middle of winter.



At least he's got a full wetsuit. And he's darn adorable too, so I'll let him play XD





Ben: Well that was fun. And cold.



Peat invited a girl home from school!! This one's name is Allison, and she seems pretty charmed by Peat.

Allison: Oh Peat, the shovel, SO AMAZING! *waggles eyebrows*
Cocoa the bird: Why is everyone going on about this SHOVEL? FCOL!



Allison: I find your shovel idea oddly appealing.
Peat: Really? Cuz I was kind of thinking ...

Peat and Allison: Yes, exactly right. *glee*



Allison: *fans self* Ohhh my heavens! Peat! Those lips!!
Peat: I can kiss her again?! ALRIGHT!

Peat: You know what we should do?
Allison: ?
Peat: We should *totally* go outside and I can show you my Golden Shovel of Awesome, it finds Pirate Treasure!!!
Allison:This boy is so cute! I think I love him! *heart heart*



Peat and Allison: *singing* Magical Golden ShooooooveL!!!!!!!!!! Magical Golden Shoooooovel! Find us a Pirate Treasuuuuuure! Under the wooorms and muuushroooms!



I guess they liked their little tune so much, they decided to go sing it in style instead of going out to find the real shovel.



Allison: *fabulous grin* I'm so awesome. I'm *so* in this legacy.
Yes, yes you are. Could I really resist your charm? I think not!



Allison: *singing* Magical Golden Shoooovel!!!





Both: *singing* Under the wooooooorms and mushroooooms!



He invited her over the next morning, and this is how he greeted her. I'd say she's a keeper!



Peat: So, what do you want to do today Allison?
Allison: Me? Really truly?
Peat: Really truly!!
Allison: I want to be BFFs with you!
Peat: Yes!!



Allison: *with great emphasis* B.F.F. For reals.

So, while Peat and Allison have been busily winning each other's hearts ... what has Russet been up to?
Russet: Ho hum, there's that cute girl standing there! I'll just go read the paper now.
Um, yeah. You invited her over! Talk to her!

Instead I had Clementine teach her the hula :D
