[CFUW #32] Locked to Marluxia

Ah, so I'm the most suspicious one, am I? Ah well, I suppose I'm the one who's going to be removed in the first round. Someone has to, so there's not really any point to fighting it. It's a bit of a disappointment, but I suppose there's no real way to avoid it ( Read more... )

I do apologize if that seems unfortunate, but for what it's worth, I'd been starting to feel that way before the debate occurred. But then, it seems, the first round is really rather random for finding the wolves, though it's good for finding sheep.

I would like to hear what you've got to say, of course.

Well, there's only a one in six chance of the wolf even being up for tht voting in the end, but someone has to be removed, and hey, better me than you, right? No hard feelings, it's a game after all, and someone has to be eliminated in the first round.

I've been talking with Takino (Tourette's Syndrome), and from what I gleaned from the conversation, if she's a wolf, then it's possible that Sano (Dyspareunia) is one as well - Takino made a remark that while she's usually suspicious of him, she isn't this time, which could be an intentional red herring, but could be a way of pulling suspicion off of the other wolves, it's hard to tell, as always, but either way it could be a useful thing to investigate.

It is a game, and we can but work with what little we see. If I'm wrong about you, I am sorry.

It could be an intentional red herring, or, I suppose, it could be her simply knowing him very well. It is something to keep an eye on, though, I agree -- but if she were a wolf, would she simply come out and say that, or try to hide it under some amount of suspicion...?

... though, I did notice in the opening of the game that she was certainly jumping to the conclusion that Sano was cleared by the first clue. Admittedly, it could be clearing him, me, or neither of us but simply pointing to those who got the clues at all, but I did notice that jump she made. You're right, it's worth keeping in mind. Even if HE is a sheep, if she were a wolf she might be trying to point him as clear so if or when he got eaten or voted out and discovered as sheep, she'd look more innocent for having pegged him as one early on.

Don't be sorry about it - you did the best with what you had. Even if it's wrong, you made the right decision based on what you knew, which isn't something you should apologise about. That's how the game goes - I'm apparently the most suspicious one, so I'll be removed at the start, which will just show that I was a sheep in the end. Martyr complex indeed - I'll have to talk to the shepherd once the game's over about the irony of my diagnosis.

Tomo's indicated that she thinks someone in particular's suspicious, but is keeping it a secret from people until they're verified as sheep - no idea who it is though. I'm thinking she suspects Sora, personally, though it's hard to tell.
