Quick question: should I split suggestions into column A and B, or can I just give you a list of 'verses and only distinguish if I think it's only really appropriate for just one?

And if the former, does that mean that for column B things, I should be comign up with something like "road trip from hell", rather than just saying "SPN-verse"?

Good question. I'd say separate them into A and B. And you can submit both, "road trip from hell" or/and SPN-verse if you'd like to include both options. It's up to you. List verses or premises you'd love to see explored.

I have no words to express my love for this challenge. So - ♥♥♥♥♥!

Quick question: Do you want a single lists of suggestions that you will then put into the two columns, or do you want separate lists for Column A and Column B? (Does that question make sense?)

Me too! Heh. I've been dying to do something like this.

Separate lists would be wonderful. Bring it on!

I think grouping them according to canon vs. AU might create unneccessary clutter and load extra work onto the mods. It could also come off as restrictive for prompts that don't have to be AU or canon -- things like 'write a fic based after No Doubt's 'Don't Speak''. Grouping the prompts/fics according to series seemes to be the best way to do it, but allowing people to state whether or not they want their prompts to be AU or canon is a good idea, too.

Sorry if there was a post discussing this before, or if this is how you've always done it, or of the idea for this round is to have a clear line between canon and AU-verses. :x Just thought I'd toss my two cents in.

I could easily and greedily go on for miles with this! But I gave myself ten minutes to see what I could come up with from gut instinct, and this is the short list. For Column B, I put both the name of the fandom 'verse and a one line description, in case that helps. Please disregard if it only clutters things up.

COLUMN A (FANDOMS)
  • Bleach
  • Gundam Wing
  • Kyou Kara Maou
  • Ouran High School Host Club
COLUMN B ('VERSES)
  • Cluster Edge - artificial soldiers fighting for acceptance in post-war society
  • Lord of the Flies - teenagers struggling for survival and dominance on a desert island
  • My Own Private Idaho - rentboys/street hustlers on a road trip
  • Ouran - visit to a (high school) host club
  • Three Amigos - big time/has been movie stars go to Mexico, where they are mistaken for and hired as real cowboy heroes
  • X/1999 - choosing sides for the coming apocalyptic war

Thank you for doing this! ♥
