Giggsy ate my bloody carpet tonight. Like.... a big gigantic hole about a whole door's width and 6 inches wide. I don't know what to fucking do with this dog. it wasn't thundering or storming outside, she just got pissed and ate it while we were at dinner.

I swear to God. There goes any deposit I might have paid. Fuck me.

Has Giggsy ever been crate-trained?

Conrad would eat my fucking house if he wasn't crated when we leave. Well, not "eat" so much as "demolish and try to hurl himself through closed windows". But same idea.

She flips out big time when I try and put her in a crate. She's your typical shelter dog so she's got all sorts of problems and when I first got her I tried to crate train her but as soon as you put her in the crate, she starts panting and pacing and whining and then if you leave her in there longer she starts eating her way through the metal. She destroyed one side of a metal cage (and her mouth and paws in the process) before I just said okay she does not like being locked into a small space. She must have had some prior issues with being locked in a crate (she was abused before the SPCA seized her) because she just absolutely freaks out when she's in a crate and she's generally a good enough dog to where I don't need to have to lock her up.
