I just love this man so much. He actually interacts with his audience instead of looking like a robot and scribbling his name over and over with no emotion. I've met quite a few actors at stage doors and other signings and he's completely different than any of them. And this isn't a one off, from every fan report I've ever read, he's always been ( Read more... )

We're sticking close to home. There are gas shortages all over Atlanta with tons of stations completely out, and long lines at the rest if you're lucky enough to stumble upon one. For a variety of reasons that all managed to converge at once, supplies are really tight here, and panic buying is making it worse. Sucks because it's not like you can just easily use public transportation instead anywhere outside the perimeter. I have to save what gas I have for my kid's special classes up in the city this week, and am hearing no reassurances that gas supply will ease up in the next few days, so. Home it is. Bleah.

Does crating Giggsy for the whole day work? I hope she learns to stop eating your shoes!

Ugh, yeah I understand you. It was like that directly after the hurricane here. And yes, people that top off for like 3 gallons just kills me. And yup, I understand you on the lack of public transport. It's amazing that the South is so behind the times, huh?

I don't know. SHe's never eaten anything like this before, so I'm hoping. She's going to sleep in it tonight too. I can't have her starting to eat things, I'll never be able to keep her if she continues to eat stuff.

I like David Tennant a lot, he seems like a really top bloke. :*) Definitely an actor worthy of admiration.

Hope Giggsy is suitably chastised, bless her. I have had a great Sunday, went out last night for Suze's birthday shennanigans which was so much fun. Today was spent being hungover but happy in the sunshine, mostly in Camden with my friend Maff.

I am SO glad someone else has mentioned Mama Jones' eyebrows. They are so so distracting.

ITA, about Season 3. It took me awhile to warm up to Martha and honestly, I liked her so much better in all the episodes where she was independent of the Doctor in some way (like Gridlock). It made her awesome rather than all pine-y for the Doctor which I really didn't dig. Actually, when it comes down to it, I liked her best in Season 4 (and on Torchwood) when she was totally in charge of herself. Then she rocked out. Which, really, is why I liked Donna so much. She just owned herself (and the Doctor too!)

Okay. Babbling. Will stop now.

They look like... worms or something. I just can't stop staring at them everytime she's on screen. *shudders*

And yes. I never gave her a chance because she wasn't Rose, but I doubt my opinion would differ even if I had given her a chance.

I know. The two old New York episodes followed by the Lazarus just doesn't help with the craptasticness.
