Some even worse news than Robbie taking part in the HRD...

Mo removed himself from the ASG citing injury - [read more @ yankees.com]

Mo banged up = so not good. Glad he's sitting it out though - I'd rather have him in the World Series than the ASG.

Not really a huge fan of it either. The 2008 one is the only one I've ever really gotten excited about.

I really wish Robbie would listen to Kevin Long and remove himself. I don't like the HR derby. It's too long and they honestly try too hard for something that doesn't really matter. According to a bunch of hitters, it has messed with their swing, and that worries me. I just hope Robbie doesn't hurt himself or try too hard. We need him. He needs to win his well deserved gold glove and batting title.

And wow, I would feel sad for the Red Sox--if they weren't the Red Sox-- based on the amount of injuries they're experiencing. But since they are, it can only be advantageous to us and TB (I'm sure their three fans are excited).
