Feb 24, 2015 22:54

I was just re-watching Suna no Utsuwa clip and it reminds me of a certain big topic in Early 2004. They were the first Johnny's group or even, a group in ( Read more... )

I didn't know Suna no Utsuwa and Pride aired at the same period, in the same year! Wow! They are both my favorite dramas ever!
Really, a lot of the dramas from the late 90s/early 2000 are just so good! It might be just me, but lately I'm too often disapointed by dramas :(
Shiroi Kage was incredibly good too~ (or maybe I just love Nakai so much that eveything he does is ok for me xD) and a lot of other dramas from that period~
But really SMAP is incredible! Being good and professional enough to be untrusted with such good work and achieving such high ratings, and all of them at the same time...!
I read a comment once on a blog that translated articles and comments from 2ch, it said: "SMAP's popularity is out of this world. Even my grandma know them." I though it resumed SMAP quite well ^^.

I hope I didn't make too much mistakes (i'm french) and I love your blog a lot! :) I read it quite often :)

That's how I used to think too. But I tried to look at it from a different perspective. Old dramas seems all good to us, because we only know a bulk of the good dramas. We didn't experience all the dramas in the past, so we don't know much about the no-good ones. But for the recent dramas, we get to choose which one's good and bad, we experience all the good and bad dramas in real time, so it feels like there's just little number of good dramas.

Not sure if I'm making sense, lol. But I understand what you mean^^

Your English is perfect haha don't worry!

Wow! SMAP.
I've always been an Arashi fan and visiting your site really makes me learn things about their dai-senpai!
I've only seen Shingo act though. I can't compare it with Nakai in Utaban. Haha. He was really funny there. I hope I can watch KimuTaku soon! He got loads of dramas! Any recommendations where to start? ^^

PRIDE is a good choice to start^^ And maybe Good Luck. But there's many good Takuya dramas 1996-2007, pick anything^^
