Xu Qing is such a beauty. But rarely see her in any drama with English subs?.. She's my favorite as for this role. Have you seen the latest version with Wallace Hou? The story is a mess up and the cast can't even be compared.
Yes, she rarely star mainstream movies too, unlike Zhou Xun :( I like Anita Yuen (Taiwan 2000) and Sharla Cheung (Swordsman I movie) in the role too, but yeah... absolutely... Ren Yingying = Xu Qing for me!^o^ Jin Yong even said "You're the RYY I've always imagined" to Xu Qing... there's no doubt about it!
As for Wallace version, I was immediately not interested when I heard they made Dungfang Bubai a girl and become the main love interest -_- But I decided to check out bits of it... and yeah, not only the story, but the production quality is pretty messed up as well.
However, Han Dong (the guy who played Tian Boguang) caught my interest. I find him very good-looking and very good in acting. I wish he was the one who get the Linghu Chong role, I think he can portray the happy-go-lucky side of LHC even better than Li Yapeng and Jackie Lui. I don't like Wallace Huo as LHC. Li Yapeng is much better than his portrayal.
