Wow, let's jump in feet first with as much angst as possible. That was almost breathtaking. Talk about chameleon arch gone wrong, like it got interrupted before it could finish the backstory and let Nine's guilt ridden subconscious fill in the gaps. How awful that must be for Jack and Rose.

I had wondered if you were ever going to show us how things got this way and decided I'd be ok with not knowing if that's the way you went. Though I'm curious and will be glad to know, I'm far more interested in how they all deal with where they are and how they move forward.

Oh, this is heart-breaking. As rough as the Doctor is having it, I think Jack and Rose are in the worse position.
