I have to tell you again how utterly perfect this is. The incremental, subtle changes, so low-key that it barely registers with them, and yet their relationship is changing. This is exactly what I wanted to see as a prelude to Thy Willing Soul.

And I adored this line, as well as the image of the Doctor taking Jack's bottle away and kissing him:

Funny how little it can take to make one feel loved.

Beautifully done, with so much loving affection and a wonderfully deft touch. Thank you!

I'm glad I managed to get across that the changes really sneak up on them - their relationship is changing, but so slowly and naturally they don't even notice. And I'm especially glad you liked the final scene and the closing line.
