It's moving slowly (and we've yet to see Watanuki's role in this story...) but I guess we are getting somewhere?
Though, is she really lying? when she said "The person in the photo is in-between the wall in your house has been killed by you already." it sounded a bit creepy but very Holic like...
What is the importance of Kohane in Holic? O__O

Well... even though Kohane-chan talked about "her mother told her to lie". However, the reaction that the woman is given out seems more like she has REALLY go insane because her "little secret" has been revealed just like that by a little girl. And Kohane-chan was only "whispering" it out to her ear... and while the audience and host now has doubtful thought toward EVERYTHING she was doing "base on her mother told her to lie" not just this occasion.
I really don't know... She "has to be" connected to Watanuki/TRC somehow but I couldn't think of a reason why xxxholic was put on break for such a long time previously [to let TRC catch up o.O] if the next arc of xxxholic is nothing but "Kohane arc" O.O

Seeing the actual chapter really gives a different feeling ^__^
In your translation, without the scan, I didn't realize Kohane was whispering to her for example : I imagined she was talking out loud ^^;
Indeed, together with Himawari/Doumeki, she is one of the rare characters who are 'real' in Watanuki's little world ^^
Clamp said the climax of both series will happen together so I believed too that those totally irregular releases was to put them as the same level or make happen a particular event that would strongly link the two together...
So I was wondering : are we being deceived again? We all thought that their going to Clow Country was the beginning of the end...could it actually only be a step to yet another incredible revelation which would be the 'real' climax of TRC? And did you read ChibiYuuto's LJ? About how Clamp was working on a big project including both series? If those two mangas were ending, would they rally start now such a thing? 2008 might not be the final year for TRC and Holic ^__~

Yeah~~ I can quite imagine just reading the translation "definitely" don't have the same impact as the scan [even the Psycho Mom going insane part, the translation in itself doesn't justify it at all] ^.~

Well, no... I still think that going to Clow Country would still be the "climax" of TRC... well, at least the climax in itself should be IN Clow Country. However, the "actual" climax part, would that be just the "the gang facing FWR" or the famous "tube scene" [How in the world did Syaoran get in there o.O] or the faceoff of FWR would have involvement from Yuuko and the link between TRC/xxxholic event. Well, unless FWR "escape" to a different dimension or Yuuko DID something [Grrr... I am still thinking about the spoiler of Yuuko dancing for 11 pages.. What does that mean??] that changed the climax out of Clow Country!?

Yup~~ xxxholic has resumed its story-telling of "the ugly side and real nature of human being". After all these suffering and pain that Kohane-chan has been going through all these years, I just wish that Watanuki take care of her from now on and that Psycho mom need to go to mental hospital.
Though the black smoke coming out of the mother, I wonder what would happen?? I agree please don't let anything happen to Kohane, Watanuki and Doumeki ;___;

I'm not sure about everyone else, but I like Kohane-chan's arc. She's a bit like someone Watanuki could have turned out like (powers abused?), and someone oddly similar to him with the name-is-a-day and spiritual power. Good luck, Kohane-chan!

I keep waiting for her to have a feather or something (heh).

Well, even though I do want to see and know more about Watanuki and in a sense think that this arc is "a bit" slow. However, I love Kohane-chan... because she FINALLY stand up to her mom and let EVERYONE understand how much she has been suffering all these years!! I want to see happiness for Kohane ^__^

Most definitely, feel free to use it in whatever way you like... ^__^ I also want to point out that my translation is based off the chinese scanlation and thus the translation in itself has already been through JPN -> CHN -> ENG. While recently I have read the "raw" translation of the same chapter from ashura_sama, I am not saying my translation is wrong or anything. However, I can still notice some "tiny differences" I found between the chinese scanlation and the original one.

So, it is totally up to you whether you would decide to use my translation, ashura-sama's translation or a combination of both!! ^__^

i use combinations because is a re-translation in oder to have a more accurate translation into Spanish, i work with 3 translation of Japanese to English, but for this chapter only have one so yours is my savior
