Janitorial jobs -- if you're interested, talk to my father. He ran his own business cleaning the place where he worked his regular job. I think he quit that when his brother died, since he was running it with his brother, but all the same. He can tell you what the pay is like and where to look, I would think. You might end up with late or odd hours, but I don't think you'd mind that, and there's definitely not so much interaction with people, if you need a break from all the kids. ^^
How about working at camps in the US? Like summer/winter camps etc. Some high-profile places are also business centres, so you could have work all year 'round if you find the right place. :D
