Haha, be careful not to drown. I was playing a bit of Abyss today. I wanted to try Unknown difficulty once I got the capacity cores (so my stats wouldn't totally lag behind theirs and I'd get squished). I will say it's a lot easier to get high hit counts (even with two people) when the enemy won't die. Yay Ian and his Mystic Arte extension. I think I got 42 hits so far, although it didn't save that because I ended up dying that fight so I just restarted the game.

Oh, nice. I can never get the Ion mystic art in Abyss. It's a real pity.

I've forgotten so much.... I spent a ton of time just figuring out how to trigger Mystic Artes; I could get Overlimit fine, but not the Mystic Arte. I still haven't figured out if it's HOLD X or PRESS X to get Ian's extension. Usually I press it a couple of times and hold for a couple of seconds. Most of the time he'll cooperate.
