Hm, I think I would look for a pattern, you know? Maybe it is one person, or it might even have been a slip of the tongue from that person. (One of the more amusing "rules" for the prayer team is, don't ask them for a full medical diagnosis and then tell God how to fix it.... He's perfectly capable of taking something like "My knee hurts" and fixing it Himself.)

If you want to talk about it, feel free. I've found, often, that when people say things that bother me, half the time it's actually something going on in my life that made it annoying (and the other half, they were saying something that just didn't fit, which sounds more like what you're describing from what you've said).
