Hahaha, I used my Quagsire to beat enemies he didn't even have an elemental advantage on (so long as he wasn't elementally weak) because that guy could take hits like nobody's business, and had a fairly decent roster of attacks to go with it. Surf + Earthquake/Magnitude puts the hurt on most things. Can't say I particularly remember that gym, except that I was probably over-leveled to deal with it if I'd had a problem.

It's good that you skipped the Nina arc in dub. Her English voice made me *look forward* to her death (when I just about cried when I read it in the manga and saw it in Japanese).

Hughes' death always makes me really sad though T_T
