I love my mom. She knows about my research to make Nightingale, and how I'm trying to study Braille and Sign Language to make the story as authentic as possible. Ack, I forgot Carrie Fisher is on Broadway now! I'll have to see if I can still get a ticket and see that.

Nice job with the sign language. =D I used to know quite a bit of it myself but sadly I've forgotten most of it. D= I use the "I love you" sign language a lot at concerts though. XD"

I love sign language, I want to got to tafe and learn it but i dont know when i'd use it D:

In australia we call is AusLan, i dont know if its much different from your sign language?

Hm, I'm not sure! I'm surprised that English-speaking countries use different versions, I would have thought that in the UK/Americas/Australia they would use more or less the same signs. From what I've read, the different versions of sign language mostly change the order of the words, so that they're more like the native language. For example, Latin languages put adjectives after the noun, unlike English.

I'd be interested to read how Australian sign language is different.
