Woo! I'm only at a little over 3k, but I think I'm going to try and bring it with me to work tonight and see if I don't have time to get something done.

I'll NaNo!friend you tonight, when I get back home, I'm iki_teru over there too ♥ Happy writings!

Huzzah! I've gone ahead and friended you on the site, and I'll be putting up an AIM chat at around 8 pm PST, because I've discovered communal word wars are a fun and wonderful thing and having people to talk with during this process is great. The chat name is oshinano - let me know if you want in. :Db

Best of luck with the writing!

I'll be out and about Saturday night, so I'll probably try to get my writing done during the day. I may keep chat up and running all day, though, so you're more than welcome to pop in whenever. :Db

I love it.

Ugh, NaNo is being like pulling TEETH this year. I'm at the goal so far, but only just barely, and only because I broke down and added author rants early this year. My novel may wind up being, like, 85% author rants.

But yes, we should get together to write. Friday's completely open for me, as is most of Saturday, and Sunday afternoon. I'm also out closer to you on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Let me know what works.

Thank you! The rest of that scene/chapter is...really angsty, actually. Sad Keybearers in rain, or something like that.

...actually, it might be hilarious if your novel was author rants - a very meta novel about the process of writing a novel. Either way, a word count is a word count, right?

We should! I'm trying not to go out too much until I get over this cold - the last thing I want to do is be Typhoid Mary for everyone, especially this month - but once I'm over that, I'd love to do write-ins. I'm thinking of scheduling a public one at a froyo place around here on Wednesday nights, if you're interested.

Over 3000 words in one night? Your secret, what is it?
XD I keep finding myself writing bits that I know I'll probably just cut if I ever come to post it.

Also it's been raining here all day and I couldn't agree with Terra more. Not that there's been all that many battles, but yeah.

My secret is that evidently I crank out around 640-760 words every time we have a word war and we had quite a few last night. I had no idea I could do that. o_o

I'm debating posting the first part of mine on FFN already, just to say, THIS IS WHAT I'M WORKING ON AND YOU MAY SEE MORE LATER IF THE WRITING AND EDITING PROCESS DOESN'T KILL ME, HUZZAH, BYE NOW. I kind of let my FFN account idle, so it might be a good idea to let people know I'm still somewhat functional.

Well, if you ever do get the opportunity to fight someone in the rain with a Keyblade, do let me know. It sounds interesting. :Db

That sounds like a pretty good way to get it done! I might have to try it out. Have you ever tried out write or die? I think that's probably where I'm going to have to go to catch up!

Oh god, editing. I'm not sure if I even want to think about that now. But yeah, letting people know you're alive is always a good thing. Is yours AU or normal-verse? (Is there a word for the opposite of AU? Non-AU? U? Something like that.)

I'm not sure the opportunity will come up, but who knows? I'll let you know if it ever does! XD

V nice, v nice, but must lift editor's hand and say that lightening = lightning. Pet peeve of mine, sorry. *hides*

And I agree with ghettopeach completely. Maybe bc I'm not going from scratch this year, but I just can't get into the groove; I'm only at 2300 as of last night, and who knows how much I can plod through tonight. Sigh. Plot, plot, I'm not good at PLOT, and I am unfortuantely in the v plotty portion of last year's novel. Hence why it's been sitting untouched for 11 months (aide from all the wedding stuff). Oy gevalt. Anyway, as far as writing shenanigans are concerned - this weekend the in-laws (hee!) are in town, and next weekend I'm off in the Bay - sorry! Maybe we can get together sometime during the week. Come over on your way home from work! We can order in Chinese or something and scribble away. Esp since's Matt's doing this too. It could be fun! Best of luck with keeping your wordcount up!

I will worry about editing when it's completely done. |D When that rolls around, if you'd like to be my editor, you are more than welcome, because I likely won't want to see it for a solid few months ( ... )
