A quick check on KH Wiki says you're right. This is going to require some reworking...which I'll get to later, since a week of sleep deprivation is not doing anything for my creativity. |D
Actually. I might have a quick fix for that one. Maybe you can put in a bit of Treasure Planet instead? It's Disney and has a workable world-hopping escapade bits. Deep Space/Stitch world has shown that it's possible for that to happen. That type of world might actually give credence to Terra's backstory in your 'verse.
