For those of you who've heard me yammer on about this on AIM and/or Twitter, I finally put up the half a video I have for Dare You to Move. I started it in 2006 and never really finished. I might eventually - for now, my brain has been taken over by the new AMV. As it is, here's the unfinished one:

You're probably working with an MP3, huh? Try converting it to a WAV and see if that fixes it? I always convert to wav's for Premiere. It chokes on mp3's a bit. Wav's make it happier, lol

Yeah, the wav will be like 30-40 megs, but it'll be recompressed once you save the wmv.

PFT, anyway. I'll watch YOUR AMV when I'm not on the crappy computer. I've had this happen to me with WMM (it's the only program I have as well) but I can't really remember how I SOLVED the problem. Just that it's happened to me before @_@ Sorry I can't be more helpful but at least you know it's not just you?

You know, I think I figured out why the whole Linkin Park thing bothers me so. Sure, everyone's story in BBS winds up on a downward spiral into hell, but despite all that the characters never angst about it. We do get a few scenes of "oh my God what have I done" or "wow this is a bad situation to be in," but they're usually quickly followed up by sheer determination to either 1. make things right or 2. end somebody (towards the purpose of making things right). The characters don't angst. Angsty music doesn't fit.

I'm going to take Jen's suggestion of converting the file. I just hope this doesn't mean I have to redo everything I've already done. |D

:o You know, I never thought about that until now. That's probably why I love the trio so much is that even in the face of this horribleness which they WOULD have every right to angst about they just clench their fists and push onward. All for the sake of their friendship. It's very touching really. Man, your making me want to make some KH vids again...once I remember the songs. I really need to start writing down these ideas I have. |D

I hope it works! WMM can be one of the most frustrating programs I know.
