You have no idea how hard it was to resist the temptation to put an A in that HELP.

Re: the conclusion, it's possible that Facebook's large market share and the ease of one-click "Join this group to endorse Cause X" may also be factors in its greater contribution to activist causes. I think this is probably why FB > 4chan and LJ; FB's audience dwarfs 4chan, and it's harder to sign up for a LJ account and configure it than it is to start a FB account and let it invade your email addresses to propagate your contacts and preferences ( ... )
