I had a moment last night. The students and former students know what I'm talking about: a moment in which a college student, nearly finished with classes and faced with the dilemma of what Real Life on the other side of graduation might be like, falls to their knees in an overdramatically overwhelmed manner and worries aloud and loudly about THE ( Read more... )

True, but so far I've barely managed to find colleges that have grad programs I want, never mind rolling admissions. |D

I shall keep on the lookout, though! Thank you :3

The GRE is a bitch. A HORRIBLE UGLY BITCH.

I'm with you on the "mom wants me to go to graduate school but I really don't want to" front.

Also, at least your graduation paperwork isn't probably going to make you shot yourself and/or someone else in the face repeatedly (see my personal entry on that one).

This is what I hear, yes 8D

Though I suppose I shall need it at some point if I intend to pursue my parents' approval grad school this whole affair.

HUZZAH LET US BAND TOGETHER AND

NOT DO GRAD SCHOOL

OR SOME OTHER SUCH NONSENSE 8D

Ooh, ouch. *hugs!*

Hey you!

So last semester jitters, huh? I remember those all too well. I know it provides little comfort in the midst of the uncertainty of the future, but things will work out. Just don't be afraid to hold out for the thing you really want. Don't settle for less whether that be grad school or a job you don't even like. That will just make you miserable. The most important thing is to do something you're passionate about and find fulfilling. Everything else (including money) eventually comes from that and very rarely is it the other way around.

I'm here for you if you want to chat. I always love hearing from you so feel free to call or email anytime. I love you, my friend :)

I was going to say that it gets better, but that's not entirely true; it doesn't get better (in fact, it seems to get progressively more complicated as time goes by), but you will get to the point where things that seem overwhelming now are really no big deal ( ... )
