SO GUESS WHO WAS ILL AGAIN LAST NIGHT

Same thing again: bit of nausea, massive bout of chills, inability to sleep because of the former two items. I've been having a great past couple of days, let me tell you. I made an appointment with the Student Health Center this morning. Two hours and $120 later, they told me I'm slightly dehydrated and stressed the hell out and that's what's ( Read more... )

I think I need another vacation. One where I'll actually be able to sleep and not worry about things.

god in heaven, don't we all. as lovely and relaxing as thanksgiving is, it's all just a massive fake-out before you go back to school and WELL SHIT LOOK AT THAT WORK I HAVE TO DO IN THE NEXT TWO WEEKS. *headdesk* I feel ya. Hope you get better soon! ♥

Thanksgiving break is only a break for the professors. That's why they make everything due afterwards. Professors are jerks. :|

*patpats* Well, at dinner I mentioned to dad I had online friend who apparently had nothing majorly wrong with her and had big bill for it.

Dad rolled his eyes and said you don't wake up with chills from just stress. It's more likely your body trying to fight off some kind of viral infection. (*googles a sec and ah has* "Your mystery chills, with or without a fever, may be a sign of a mounting infection. One of your body’s battle strategies in fighting a viral/bacterial infection is raising your body’s temperature at the infection site. Shivering muscle contractions markedly assists in this temperature increase." )

Of course, goodness knows, lack of sleep and stress does make you more susceptible to coming down with things like colds! So that probably IS half the battle, but yeah. If you find yourself with the chills again tonight, you might wanna check your temperature if you can. :Oa
