The anvil is very strong in SPN. Mind you, subtlety isn't exactly one of American shows' forte so we shouldn't be surprised. But sometimes it just seems so ott!obvious, know what I mean?

And, yes, it was like they tried to pack two different episodes in one; one solely involving the brothers and the aftermath of Dean's discovery, and another one with the anvilly plot of Jake-equalling-Sam-only-not - as a result, if felt a bit as if we'd been cheated somehow.

Not that I didn't enjoy the episode, I did, but after the intensity of the previous three, it was just 'less', is all. Then again, I know we couldn't keep the same level of intensity throughout all seasons but still...

Am I the only one who didn't find this episode too gorey?

This was a wonderful storyline proving to everyone the epic love between Merlin and Arthur.
