We're not really advanced enough for lifts at the moment.
Currently it's all pretty basic, so a little slow and boring at times. But the quick step is always entertaining and we've just started to do a lot more turns in waltz. Spinning is always good.
The Argentine tango hour is definately the best though. It's not bouncy-happy-grinning like jive/chacha and not slow and repetitive like waltz. It also has lots of technical moves without being too strict.
Yay for the tango. I really like it, and I've only done a tiny bit here and there.
I had my dance lesson last night. She taught me some basic Romany folk, which is made of hilarious win. Cursing people by flicking your giant skirt at them is serious business :P
