i've finished reading it, a little more than an hour ago. i don't know what to say.

it was brilliant, and i loved it, faults and deaths and epilogue and all.

JK, you have redeemed yourself for the way the books were declining.

Sirius was not really mentioned, if at all. BIIIIIIIG WTF. and the veil wasn't explained, either. let down there.

also majorly pissed off that Sirius' name wasn't used for one of Harry's kids, I am going to assume that his eldest kid is called "James Sirius", otherwise i will go mad

And in wizarding afterlife or whatever Sirius must be SO PISSED OFF WITH HARRY OKAY. James, sure, okay, I understand. Albus, eh. Severus, the guy who made him miserable for six years? jigga-what?

And, really, I can't see why he considers his father FIRST and FOREMOST in EVERYTHING, I LOVE YOU DADDY, when Sirius was the only actual father figure he had. Well. I can see why, but I OBJECT.

characterisation was way off for me on some characters, namely Remus (WTFFFFFFFF. @ his & Harry's fight) and Dumbledore (he was using Harry all this time?)

well, for Dumbledore, we know it was for a "good reason" and Harry didn't die anyway, but THAT'S BESIDES THE POINT.

you know, as i was reading, i interpreted that scene as Remus saying "I WISH TO DIE SO I CAN BE WITH SIRIUS, FUCK TONKS AND THAT KID THING". he was totally saying that, amirite!?

the part that got spoiled for me was snape's death - thats when i gave up and went to read the spoilers because she took the one character I loved and killed him, so whatever. I still don't have the book, though, i got to the midnight release and they had locked their doors, am about to leave to go get it now though. i cant believe you finished reading it already - how long did it take you?

oh, that's terrible, especially since his death was right at the end and pretty much very quick/random/didn't help the plot much. D: although i guess you can argue it did, but i think it would have been better if he never returned after jumping out of the window of Hogwarts.

around 11 hours, i think, i tried to stretch it out as long as i could without my head exploding
