TOUGH & WILD
The theme is 「Tough & wild」. Giving examples from their own personalities, "the part where they feel tough = tenacity and dynamism" and "the part where they feel wild = manliness and strength". Furthermore, there's also their thoughts while looking back at the very fulfilling year of 2007.

Tatsuya Fukasawa

In the morning, my hair when I wake up is wild ne (*laugh*) I can't go to school like that because it looks like it exploded, so unless I take a bath it's hopeless. And···one time before, even though it was midwinter, I went out wearing only a tanktop, I think I was wild at that time. It was colder than usual, so I immediately regretted it ne (*laugh*) Other than that, lately since I've been doing back handsprings, I get muscle aches a lot, there's a part of me that's thinking「I have to make my body tougher」. For that reason, right now, since I'm doing stuff like running, if I continue like this I'll train my body···it should be like that, but the likelihood that I'll abandon it halfway is high (*laugh*). A person in the Jrs who feels wild? Nikaido (Takashi)-kun! I think his dancing and his mood are wild and cool. In 2007 I showed everyone that I mastered the back handspring, other than that, though, I wonder if I've grown in other parts. In 2008, I want to master dancing more!【Fukasawa Tatsuya】

Ryosuke Hashimoto

Speaking of a tough & wild moment during normal life, one of them is when you're hitting a punching machine! Hitting with all your strength is really refreshing, at night too you'll be sound asleep. And, my personality is wild in some ways, it's desolate ne (*laugh*). Generally speaking, it's because if it's not done like I want it then I'll feel reluctant. Putting it simply it's selfishness. (P: What happens when it doesn't go your way?) In that case I know there won't be any kind of solution too ne. Of course I won't do that during work. When it's tough and it doesn't go my way I think 「it's because there's something lacking in me」, to do my best next time I'll change that mindset. At the end, my thoughts while looking back at 2007···generally it's a year where I gained a lot of experience ne. To make good use of the things I gained in this year, I want to grow more and more. Because other than (the me) right now, I'll show many 'me's! 【Hashimoto Ryosuke】

Hikaru Iwamoto

When you're dancing, naturally it's important to be wild, but I think the most important thing is to change your expression according to the song. So, while working it out in your own style, thinking of each song's pose, day after day there's a lot of researching. It'd be ideal if I could dance with the same merihari as (Imai) Tsubasa-kun! Also, recently, because everyone's mastering the back handspring, I also want to ride that wave (*laugh*), because of that I'm practicing it. There's a lot of times I'm motivated like that ne. Privately? In school, when it's break time, we play onigokko with around 30 people (*laugh*). Since we're using a lot of physical strength, we'll be playing very wildly ne. But during class we change moods to listen properly to the teacher. There too merihari is important! (*laugh*) My thoughts when looking back at 2007···the first time I appeared in a butai, I also learned a lot of things ne. If I get the chance to appear in another butai, I want to show what I've learned properly! 【Iwamoto Hikaru】

( Note: 'merihari' is 'modulation' or 'change of pace'. Its' actual meaning is the changes in rhythm and force, from quiet to loud, that keep a song interesting. Hikaru uses it in two different contexts - when he's talking about Tsubasa's dancing, he means that Tsubasa knows where and when to change 'pace' during dancing. However, during the school part, he means that it's important to be able to change 'mood' to fit the situation, from playing onigokko to returning to class. It's a little hard to explain, but I hope I explained it right... >>; )
