I saw this in an article summary on Google News:

What's your view about granting taxpayers stock in any company taking part in the proposed $700 billion bailout?Cool! An automatic stock portfolio I didn't have before! And make them pay us dividends while we're at it. On the other hand, I'm not even sure any of the people responsible for this

I don't think we need the US government playing stock broker.

They're so bad at doing everything else; do you really think they wouldn't screw this up also?

Especially this administration. I think both shoes have to fall before I'm able to figure out which Good Old Boys are getting paid off.

"I don't trust them" doesn't adequately reflect my feeling of this govt.
