(what) Games (do you) People Play II: Electric Boogaloo

First, what games are occupying your time? Why should I buy them? Keep in mind I don't have an xbox, and if it's a Wii or PC game, it may be a long while before I get around to playing it. Every other platform (even dead ones) is ... *ahem* ... fair game.

Next, a poll:

I recently finished Okami - excellent, I think I wrote a bit about it. I played the start of Twilight Princess and, eeeehhh, I didn't get into it. I can tell there's an excellent game in there but the whole dark forboding bit seems really overdone to me. I am in the minority in that regard.

Theme Park on DS is very good if you liked the original. As far as I can tell it's a straight port of the original, with cute Japanese-influenced advisors shoehorned in. It's been reliably consuming my train journeys.

Super Paper Mario is hilarious and quite good fun. I've been watching Megan play it. The writing is funny.

Pokemon is great if you have a lot of time to kill, e.g. on train journeys or something. It's a bit mindless, not very skill-based. Kind of charming and the character designs are excellent if you like that kind of thing (I do).
