People are finding tumblr now. I've had mine for a while, but mostly use it to follow the discourse in Fat Acceptance, not to post much.

Somebody contrasted these two tumblr picture blogs:

Posting pictures with brief commentary, in a basic 'one picture, short comment' format.

And, increasingly, aggregating pictures blogged by others by themes. The 'Vintage Home' is one of those, reblogging pictures posted by others, on the theme of, guess what?, vintage homes.

Also, tumblr is for artsy p0rn, as nothing except kiddie porn is forbidden. So there are tumblrs entirely dedicated to, say, artsy pics of blowjobs and the like...

All I ever really see of it is single entries that people link on my F-list, so I've never really been able to figure out it.

I'm not going to link one of the utterly NSFW ones here, in case somebody complains of having had their eyes burned out by the cock-and-cunt thing, but yes, p0rn is definitely an application for that blogging service.

Mocking hipsters and being stylish is another. And I do have a friend who simply hosts his blogs there...
