Me: Yadda yadda yadda horrible slavery! I was here at 20 to 10 today! There's not enough coffee in the world!

Nazgul: And I was going to ask you how about going swimming on Friday.

Me: **thinks about ahhhhhh warm water, drifting about while looking at marine monsters on the ceiling** Not a bad idea! But not all that late.

How do you dead pan on Gtalk? other than by writing *deadpan*? But I bet she was teasing you a bit. It conjures up a lovely picture of you leading him round on a leash until you're ready to point him at someone and let him go.

I know the Nazgul; I could see her deadpanning all the way from Obermenzing to Vaterstetten.-

And yes, I got that kind of mental picture as well. Which is why I found it so hilarious. It cheered me up no end on a long, hard day.

And then, all the recalcitrant customers gave in, and I didn't have to point an Urquhart at anybody. Good for them!
