I just allowed a Wagner opera (in which Siegfried was some blue dreadlocked orc with bare legs and big boots) to run on my telly, promptly fell asleep, and woke up two hours later to a some terribly TMI-y medical discussion program

This made me laugh so hard. Welcome to my life.

It could have been worse, though. It could have been something by Mahler. I went to a warm, dark concert where his work was being played and could not stay awake. Daniel was NOT amused :)

Well, I must admit, I was a bit tired. But the music wasn't just soporific, the staging was bizarre, and if something looks too much like a bad dream -- it suddenly is one. ZZZzzzzzz
