Ooo! I know this one! After you develop the film and are actually transferring the image onto the photo paper, you overexpose the paper by flashing the light through the film a little longer than you normally would. Then you develop as usual. I did a whole series like that in college.
That one is actually reversed. (Headdesks as she looks more carefully at it) I know I learned to do it other than in Photoshop, but I've forgotten exactly how. Same idea of overexposure, though.
