Goodness. I have never heard anyone use this phrase outside my immediate family. Am I to take it that some long ago ancestor imported it from another part of the country rather than being personally inventive?

I'm so happy you clarified that the first 3 eps of VD (haha, VD. I'm 12, sue me.) were soapy - because I'm on episode 2 right now, and genuinely curious why all my friends are raving. I'll keep going until episode 4 or 5 at least now!

TVD (better acronym) really does take a while to bake. I still remember the first good episode, when I was all, "Aw, little baby show, you made a mytharc! I'm so proud!"
