Fandom is having quite the debate over warnings. Though I am definitely on the fringes of this, it's been a real eye-opener for me in a lot of ways; I'd generally thought of myself as anti-warning, but reading the posts and discussions has made me realize that I was coming at this from a very limited perspective. I'm not a person who is easily upset or freaked by anything. Really. But I consider warnings to be an extension of the fic summary. It helps me to determine what I do and don't want to read. Considering there's so much out there to read, I hate to waste my time reading something that isn't going to interest me. So in that respect, I would like as many warnings as are relevant. But I'm definitely not someone who would go shout at an author for not putting adequate/appropriate warnings on their fic. *shrugs* just my two cents!
