Well, that's it. I walked out of the office today with a full tummy, a passel of pilfered office supplies, and way too many flowers. and I'm never going back.

Now it's time to decide what I want to be when I grow up (see, asteriatic, it's not just you). I could get another clerical type job, and hope it isn't as mind numbing and soul draining as Telus. I ( Read more... )

A new journey! Difficult in many ways I'm sure, but exciting too. You could be anything or do anything you want!

I love what I do....really love it. I took a career counselling type course, a 3 week jobby, and it gave me a much more firm connection. Here in Vancouver it's called Transitions, but I suspect they have something like that in Vic, and EI paid for it.

I'd always done administration and found it empty and annoying even though I was good at it. Now I can't imagine doing anything else.

Good luck and have fun on the adventure! Change is an opportunity for real exciting times.

May I suggest personal chef. It is very rewarding. ANd you always know where yoru next meal is coming from. Or actualy going to...

I could work some more on getting my own business up and running, but if it is at all like last time I won't be able to keep the enthusiasm up for long.

Keeping the energy going *is* the hardest part of being self-employed.
