I saw Dr. Dancel today [really early, I'd rather not do that again] she supplied me with more sample bottles of Pristiq so I can continue taking 100mgs a day. And apparently I could possibly go as high as 200 which is serious good news for me. We still had the problem of the fact that I can't afford this medication

It's instantaneous. There might be a slight time variation, but even then the traveler wouldn't remember anything - you're basically a bazillion tiny molecules while in the wormhole. So I say he should just step through, but remember to make him all woozy! They left the disorientation bit out of the series as it went on, but for the first few times they were basically nauseous and unbalanced and generally felt shitty after going through the gate. :)

I agree with you, I think I was more wondering if I should attempt to describe what they show in the episodes, but I'm liking the idea of not bothering. The scene is playing itself out in my mind much better without it.
