New year? feels like just another day to me...

I don't feel like I've accomplished near enough in these last couple of days, and it's starting to frustrate me more than a little.

I'm trying to work on the last chapter for Too Little Too Late [at least I think it's the last chapter...I've been wrong before] for some reason I just feel like I've lost the flow of the story, and even I'm not ( Read more... )

If your wheel is too small, you can just use it to work on sections at a time. So, pick a spot to start, and just stitch everything you can within the circle. Then when you've finished, just iron the whole thing out.

that's what I was doing to begin with but now I feel like a dot matrix printer just working on one line at a time ^_~ I kind of like doing it that way...not sure why

I used to do it that way too, but I got so sick of changing thread all the damn time, lol. So I just start with one color at the top of my circle, and do all of the stitches in that color line by line. I probably end up wasting thread by dropping down a row all the time, but it keeps my sanity!

I think what you're saying right there is what I'm doing. The pattern I'm working from has the oriental character [that's what I'm working on right now] I've just been doing one row after another with it.

And I've kind of become OCD about it ^_~ as in I could section off part of it with my wheel and continue from there...but I just can't seem to do it ^_~
