What's your most hated or overused? Which one do you have a secret affection for? Which ones got missed? I didn't see miracle-grow Alien cuckoo baby (either "Savior" or "Great Evil")

thank you for the link...i'd seen that a while ago but lost the link. :)

and hmm...i've a certain fondness for the idea and phrase: "a rift in the space-time continuum."

plus, it's fun to say. and i can use it at work as a reason for many strange things that happen. heh.

I love the whole idea of "the space-time continuum", I don't really groke what it means but it's just so "SciFi".

i think it's something possibly real that they have theories about that means that the scifi writers can do their very own version of the "hand-wave"? hee!

I think that list has something of a hard-SF bias, which is why it doesn't allude to the "miracle child" things. It also has something of an "all economic policies to the left of the Adam Smith Insitute are transparent crap" bias.
