He doesn't "give a damn about her and Jack"... Oooh, is somebody jealous? I'd like him to get a lot more jealous in future chapters. Maybe he'll get ina fight with Jack. :D
Also, great job with the "Agent Almeida" thing. Took me right back to those painful episodes from season 4 when she overruled him. Which didn't turn out so well, as I recall...
Either way, great chapter, but I am seriously looking forward to Michelle in the field now. Cause that's one of my favorite things ever - though my judgement may be clouded by tight black pants, a leather jacket and a Glock 19. :D
