Warnings: Angst, people. Anyone watching the show right now knows that's about all we're getting.
Summary: My own little way to explaining how Castle "finds out." Obviously now AU after the finale, but I'm going on the same path I had anyway.

What can I say? I love it. Especially how you found a way to work everybody into this chapter without diverting attention away from the main point of the story.

Lanie is spot-on. We've seen her side with Beckett once before after Castle did something stupid (first episode of the second season), but still... In most fics, Lanie is either portrayed as some sort of stupid party-girl or a morgue-zombie without a personality. So, I think getting Lanie right is a huge accomplishment on your part, really.

Also - can you please start writing Alexis for the show? I kinda hated her character development over the past season, your Alexis seems much smarter and more reasonable.
