Month 18: Planet of the Apes moment

There's a restaurant in our building that we eat at often, and baby has started to dislike it. When we enter the restaurant, she starts fussing, pointing outside, and sometimes we decide not to eat there and go elsewhere

She's showing signs of sawa with things. We eat there a lot.

And she said, clearly and forcefully, for the first time, "NO!"

Oh my God. Signing then vocalizing. She'll evolve into having actual superpowers next.

"No" was Lisi's first word. We like to say it was "mama" but in terms of saying something and meaning it? Can't get much clearer then a head turned and hand out while saying NO!

(Her vocab's increased though so we've expanded beyond negation hehehe)

Does she say "yes"? We're trying to teach "yes" ngayon para may positivity naman!

We are not at "yes" yet either. She has progressed to "No, Mama!" though! (Mas emphatic!)
