Zack swaggered to his feet as best he could. His head was swimming and walking felt strange. His stomach was doing things it had never done before.

"That's... That's easy enough for you to say, @$$hole! You didn't just have your whole f*cking physiology knocked out of whack!" Zack staggerred back to the bunk and plopped down. 'I fell and didn't break anything...'

Billy studied Zack for a long time, watching what was occuring with Dr. Sinesis out of the corner of his eye. He was thinking very, very hard about this. If they could get the collar off Zack, they might have a chance.

But was it actually worth the risk of killing him?

Kate was paying no attention to Billy or the metal kid. Instead, she was busy trying to signal to Tommy and Teddy that they should really try attacking Dr. Sinesis and getting out into the hall. This mostly consisted of Kate grabbing her wrist for "don't give her a chance to put the forcefield back up!" and then pretending to punch someone.

It seemed like common sense to her, anyway. How could anyone let this opportunity go? Getting frustrated, Kate repeated her message again.
