I do greatly enjoy your new palette, by reducing the red in the face (tip of nose, cheeks, chin) we focus more on the expressions, having said that, there's always something good in older work that we couldn't recapture even if we tried, where were at that point, and while we might see only the flaws, others still enjoy them, and we ourselves given enough time can see more than the wonky (hand ear arm)
"I need to know something. I need to know if I'm the only artist who finds looking over old works a cringe worthy experience. It was so absolutely horrific collecting all these pieces together, all I can see are the flaws. And yet these are the same pictures I willingly posted up onto my dA and was quite proud of!"
I'm not a visual artist, but when I listen to old compositions, I cringe so much and can't believe I was ever pleased with them. On occasion it's led me to try to tweak things which inevitably has been worse than just leaving things alone! In short, I feel your pain :)

There's something sweetly naive about my old stuff ... but I still prefer how I am now!
No problem and thanks
