Jun 02, 2007 02:10

Sorry for the late-as-hell post, but I was buzy this whole week. Explanation later.

So FanimeCon 2007 has come to a close. Fun times like usual. For some reason, it was missing a few things this year or maybe it's just me.

Before I post a full thought, here's a shot at what it looks like for those who wanna see it:

Holy crap, that was you in the Wiimote costume? No wonder you rocked the DDR stage. Major props, man!

On the DDR Stage, I did doubles and freestyle. AWH did the Max300 vid. hehe.

That Wii remote looks so awesome!

AWH is a freakin' legend at DDR! I didn't think he would of played since he quit a while ago.

Very much appreciated for the links.

This was more of a popular showcase or making a difference in the way people think. I used my creative ability to create a popular costume. AWH used his talent to execute a showcase which many think is exclusive to FanimeCon so far. hehe.

How the hell did you manage to see out of that thing!? (Wii Costume)

Allow me to explain:

The D-Pad is easily removable. While you can attach the D-Pad cross in the front very easily (i added hooks), Inside the wii-mote, there's a D-Pad hook below it as well to hold the D-Pad cross. In addition, I leveled the D-Pad to viewing eyes by putting some cardboard and measuring it to perfect eye view. Since the wiimote costume is thick, people are given enough movement to use their arms.

As mentioned before, this costume was mini-engineered for both comfort and durability on the inside while looking badass on the outside.

It was great seeing you all over Fanime! Sometimes I wasn't sure if it was you in the wiimote or someone else due to the various people wearing it. Yes, disinfect vigorously.

It's hard to tell on who's in the wiimote since the D-Pad blocks who's inside. The only times the wiimote was NOT me was during the gameroom at various points, the Console Wars, Stage Zero, the Dealer's room, and outside the convention.

Don't worry, I'll double-spray disinfectant. One before re-painting and sealing and another as the final touch. :P
