people are allowed to pair whoever they fuck they want. and guess what, telling them the pairing is bad and they should feel bad isn't going to make them suddenly stop pairing them.

i can understand the hate if the people portrayed in the pairing is over-the-top ooc, but the pairing can be ic in fanworks and it'll still be hated on. it's stupid.

ummm in my case it was a slight annoyance that just kept growing and growing until reading certain people's tumblrs in the homestuck fandom just made me decide "my god you dicks seriously think like that."

i stopped following the homestuck confessions blog and the unpopular homestuck opinions blog because it was the same bullshit every day: "gamzee/vriska/eridan are totes innocent while gamzee/vriska/eridan are totes not and you're a horrible person if you think otherwise," "if you don't ship rose/kanaya you're a yaoitard and if you do you're weakly justifying your yaoitardness," and the ever popular john/karkat topic.
